Centralisation of multiple plants:

The application is ready to be used by companies with more than one concrete plant, even if they use different types of batching controller. The information can be centralised in a single database accessed over the internet, or by importing and exporting files.

One of the most powerful and important features of the application is its ability to capture the information handled by each of your concrete batching controllers. Incoming raw material delivery notes and outgoing concrete delivery notes created at the batching controller are added to the application automatically, with no need to enter them by hand. Customers, sites, drivers and vehicles can also be captured automatically.

Raw material suppliers and incoming delivery notes:

Gesthorm keeps track of each of these suppliers, with thorough control of the raw materials they supply, their characteristics, cost per tonne and, of course, the stock of each one at every plant.

Incoming raw material delivery notes are captured automatically from the batching controller and added to the application. The delivery note automatically stores the cost of the raw material purchased and its haulage cost, based on the haulier that made the trip.

The application can also work out the future invoices that both your suppliers and your contracted hauliers should send you.

Concrete mix designs and outgoing delivery notes:

The application stores every concrete mix design with its raw material composition. It also calculates the cost of each mix per cubic metre produced. These costs are updated automatically as raw material and haulage costs change, and as new raw material deliveries are recorded.

Outgoing concrete sales delivery notes are captured automatically from the batching controller. The application works out the cost of each delivery note from the mix design and the selling price from the one set for the site and in the quote, and it also stores the raw materials used.

You can also track the quality controls carried out on these deliveries, with their results shown automatically, together with the raw materials used in production.

Customer invoices:

What if, as well as capturing outgoing delivery notes automatically from the concrete batching controller, the application also invoiced them and printed the invoices automatically? Of course it can. As well as letting you invoice delivery notes or free-text items manually, Gesthorm includes 3 wizards for automatic invoicing. Two of them invoice delivery notes and the third prints invoices. The first wizard is handy for invoicing a specific customer and site. Choose a customer, a site and a period, and the delivery notes not yet invoiced will appear. Select the ones you want to invoice, and the invoice is done.

The second wizard is even more powerful than the first. Choose a plant and a period, then click “Invoice”. The wizard automatically invoices all your customers for that plant and period.

And printing the invoices? That's what the third wizard is for. Filter by plant, customer, site, payment method and period, and the wizard prints, one after another, every invoice that matches your criteria.

Data analysis and reports:

Every form lets you print custom reports. A wizard lets you choose which fields appear in the report and set the filters to apply to the data. You can also set the sort order and the totals to calculate.

You can also choose the font, size, colour and style of the report. Save your report and you won't have to repeat these steps again.

What if I want to customise the report even further? No problem: you can export the report to Excel and make any changes you like there.

What else does Gesthorm do?

Gesthorm lets you keep track of payments on the invoices your company issues, and even of returned payments.
Control of future invoices from concrete hauliers, raw material hauliers and raw material suppliers, so you can compare them with the ones you receive.
It automatically calculates your customers' credit risk.
You can prepare your quotes, with the application automatically giving you the prices of the quoted items, the theoretical profitability and the maximum risk. Once the quote is accepted, you can automatically create the corresponding site, which shows you at all times the deviation from the quote and the actual profitability.

User access control and configurable access permissions for each screen.

Automatic database backups.
Custom lists and reports created with ease, which can be saved per user or for the whole application and opened later from the main menu.
On top of all this, Gesthorm can also keep track of your fuel tanks and the supplies made.
It includes tracking of your workers through their personal details, contracts, work reports and the automatic calculation of each worker's incentives based on the work reports, outgoing delivery notes and incoming delivery notes they have handled.
The application also lets you keep track of other types of expenses not directly related to concrete production. For this, it includes several forms to manage these suppliers, items, delivery notes and invoices received.
